Boat trips in Norddeich

Ferry connections from Norddeich

Norddeich harbour is within walking distance, making the journey especially relaxed for you. From here, you can comfortably set off to the islands, each with its own unique character.
You can reach Juist and Norderney directly by ferry from Norddeich. The latter delights many families with its dune landscape, lighthouse and the Watt Welten visitor centre.
If you fancy visiting other islands, such as Baltrum, Langeoog, Spiekeroog, Wangerooge or Borkum, that's possible too, though via the respective ferry ports along the coast (e.g. Emden, Bensersiel, Neßmersiel, Neuharlingersiel or Harlesiel). So depending on the island and your day's planning, you can simply choose the right starting point.

Cutter boat trip on the Wadden Sea

Fancy experiencing the Wadden Sea from the water? A trip on the wooden fishing cutter Nordmeer NOR-225 is a lovely opportunity. On the roughly 1.5 to 2-hour tour, you'll cruise through the Lower Saxony Wadden Sea area, past seal banks and the natural habitats of the animals that call it home. On board, you'll learn how a fishing cutter works, and during the subsequent fishing demonstration, children in particular get exciting insights.
At the end, every crew member receives a small certificate as an honorary deckhand for the day. Sailing times and tickets can be checked directly with the provider in advance.
