  • What does the all-inclusive offer include?
    During meal times, the breakfast buffet, lunch snack and evening buffet as well as non-alcoholic drinks, beer, wine and hot drinks are included in the restaurant. Furthermore, delicious cakes are available at the hotel bar at coffee time. Here and on the garden terrace you can also enjoy non-alcoholic drinks, beer, wine and hot drinks from 8:00 am until at least 10:30 pm.

    In addition to drinks and meals, the all-inclusive offer also covers the childcare in our Happy Clubs.
  • Is baby food available at the Hotel Deichkrone?
    We have an extensive range of different suppliers from 4 months to 1 1/2 years of age, including organic quality.

    We are also happy to provide you with your preferred brand or special baby food, such as pre-milk, if you book in advance.
  • Is There Free WiFi in the House?
    Yes, just check the available wifi networks and select "Deichkrone Gast", then you should already be connected. If something does not work, please contact our staff at the reception.
  • Are Dogs and Other Pets Allowed in the Hotel?
    Unfortunately, you are not allowed to bring your four-legged friends with you to the Deichkrone.
  • Is There a Baby Phone for the Guests?
    Our house has so called babytels. You will get two phones from us at the reception. One of the phones makes a call to the other and the connection remains "always on". One phone stays with the child, the other one you take with you and you have reception everywhere in the house.
  • Do I Have to Bring My Own Pram to the Deichkrone?
    You don't need to bring your pram, because there are plenty of buggies and prams available for guests to borrow in our house.
  • Are Bathrobes Available for the Guests?
    Of course, our house has enough bathrobes in all sizes from baby to adult. Just let us know at the reception desk.
  • What Is the Temperature in the Pool?
    In our large pool, the temperature is 30°C and the baby pool is sufficiently warm for the smallest water rats at 34°C.
  • Are There Extra Towels for the Swimming Pool?
    In each room you will find our swimming pool bag, which is equipped with towels for the whole family.
  • Is There Play Equipment and Additional Equipment for the Children in the Pool?
    Yes, at the baby pool you will find an age-appropriate rainbow slide and a selection of toys for the very young. In addition, swimming noodles and water wings are available in our swimming pool on request at the reception.
  • When Does the Swimming Course Take Place?
    Our swimming course with Flipper Swim School takes place from Mondays to Fridays and lasts approximately 30 minutes, depending on the number of children taking part. A 30-minute swimming lesson costs € 15 per child and the course takes place from three participating children and a minimum age of four years. Baby swimming only takes place as part of the Water Fun for North Sea Toddlers offer.
  • Are There Table Reservations in the Restaurant?
    No, we don't reserve tables.
  • Do Allergies, Intolerances or Alternative Diets Cause Any Problems during the Stay?
    No, of course this causes no problems. On request and with prior notification, we can also prepare gluten- and lactose-free, dietary or vegetarian and vegan dishes. Please let us know when you make your booking so that we can adjust to your needs.
  • Does the Childcare Also Take Children with Disabilities?
    We are happy to look after your children with disabilities. However, in order to be able to do justice to the individual child, we only look after them outside of the holiday periods.
  • Is There Travel Cancellation Insurance?
    Yes, Familotel offers the special "Familotel Travel Protection" from Allianz Insurance. Here you will find more information about Familotel travel insurance and you can also book your insurance package online. If you wish, we can also send you the necessary documents by post.
